POSITION PURPOSE

Position summary

Manages internal safety and quality programs, inspections, corrective actions, training controls, and performance reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities

  • Manages internal safety and quality programs, inspections, corrective actions, training controls, and performance reporting.
  • Maintain objective records of inspections, findings, evidence, corrective actions, training, and closure status.
  • Escalate regulatory or legal interpretation questions to qualified leadership or counsel instead of giving unauthorized legal advice.
  • Follow documented Proton procedures, customer requirements, safety expectations, and escalation paths for the assigned work.
  • Maintain accurate records, status updates, and supporting documentation so work can be verified, billed, audited, or handed off correctly.
  • Communicate delays, risks, defects, customer concerns, or scope changes early instead of allowing unresolved issues to sit.
  • Protect customer information, company assets, and confidential business information encountered during the work.
  • Participate in training, process improvement, and performance reviews tied to the role’s service and operating standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Required qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant safety, quality, environmental, inspection, or compliance training is preferred. Required certifications depend on the position and assigned work.
  • 4+ years of directly relevant experience, including demonstrated responsibility for people, accounts, projects, or operations appropriate to the position.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with coworkers, customers, providers, or candidates as the role requires.
  • Comfort using computers, email, shared documents, and company systems; role-specific software training may be provided.
  • Ability to follow documented processes, protect confidential information, and reliably complete assigned work.
  • Ability to document observations objectively and distinguish administrative support from legal/regulatory interpretation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred qualifications

  • OSHA, quality, EHS, audit, document-control, training, or credentialing experience
  • Relevant safety/quality certifications appropriate to the actual assignment
  • Experience in commercial, industrial, facilities, staffing, or field-service environments

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work environment & requirements

  • Work arrangement: Jacksonville-based; office and customer/field-site work depending on role
  • Schedule: Standard business hours with inspections, training, incidents, or customer schedules occasionally requiring alternate hours
  • Travel: Local site travel is common for field-facing safety and quality roles
  • Physical requirements: Computer/documentation work plus walking work sites; PPE and environmental conditions vary by customer location
  • Tools and systems: Inspection checklists, document-control systems, training records, spreadsheets, incident/corrective-action tools, mobile documentation
