RESPONSIBILITIES

- Maintains inventory accuracy through transactions, cycle counts, discrepancy research, location controls, and reporting.
- Verify part numbers, quantities, supplier information, commercial terms, status, and documentation before committing or updating stakeholders.
- Escalate counterfeit, quality, availability, lead-time, substitution, freight, or supplier-risk concerns before acceptance.
- Follow documented Proton procedures, customer requirements, safety expectations, and escalation paths for the assigned work.
- Maintain accurate records, status updates, and supporting documentation so work can be verified, billed, audited, or handed off correctly.
- Communicate delays, risks, defects, customer concerns, or scope changes early instead of allowing unresolved issues to sit.
- Protect customer information, company assets, and confidential business information encountered during the work.
- Participate in training, process improvement, and performance reviews tied to the role’s service and operating standards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s coursework in supply chain, logistics, business, procurement, or a technical field is preferred.
- 1–3+ years of directly relevant experience in the functional area or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with coworkers, customers, providers, or candidates as the role requires.
- Comfort using computers, email, shared documents, and company systems; role-specific software training may be provided.
- Ability to follow documented processes, protect confidential information, and reliably complete assigned work.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications
- Procurement, parts, industrial distribution, inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience
- ERP, purchasing, inventory, supplier portal, or shipping-system experience
- Experience reading part numbers, specifications, RFQs, purchase orders, or supplier documentation
WORKING CONDITIONS
Work environment & requirements
- Work arrangement: Jacksonville-based; office, warehouse, and supplier/customer coordination depending on role
- Schedule: Standard business hours; warehouse/shipping roles may use earlier, later, or shift schedules based on operations
- Travel: Occasional local supplier/customer travel may be required; most roles are primarily site-based
- Physical requirements: Office roles involve computer work; warehouse/material roles require prolonged standing and safe lifting/handling up to 50 lb where assigned
- Tools and systems: ERP/procurement systems, spreadsheets, email, supplier portals, inventory systems, scanners, shipping software, and material-handling equipment as authorized
